We are approaching the end of the winter season here which I have to say was very cold this year with lots of snow falls. The winter semester is also ending soon and everyone is busy with exams. The academic semester here at INALCO or at any other French university consists of eleven weeks of courses which is pretty short.
During this month I was working on my interviews which will be used to develop my questionnaires. As I have stated in my presentation before leaving Japan this research will follow a most dominant combined approach in which both quantitative and qualitative methods will be used with qualitative as the dominant.
